Exploring China: A Blogger’s Perspective on Safety, Trade Fairs, and Unique Connections
As a travel blogger, my recent visit to China was an eye-opening experience, filled with insights into the country’s safety, business opportunities, and unexpected connections. Join me on this virtual journey as I share the highlights of my stay in this vibrant and dynamic nation.
Attending the Biggest Trade Fair:
My visit coincided with the largest trade fair in China, an event that brought together people from around the world. The experience was not only insightful but also proved to be a valuable investment. Trust me, it was worth every penny I spent. Got to see cool stuff, meet awesome folks, and learned a lot about China’s businesses.
Safety Measures for Foreigners:
China’s strict gun control measures contribute significantly to its safety. Guns are strictly prohibited, and only the police are allowed to use them under stringent control. The comprehensive security system, including surveillance cameras and strict identity verification, enhances overall safety across the nation.
Foreigners’ safety is a top priority for Chinese police, and any issues are efficiently addressed. The security measures extend to various aspects of daily life, from transportation to accommodation, creating a secure environment for international visitors.
Navigating Visas and Travel:
For those living in China, obtaining a Hong Kong visa at the Chinese embassy is a straightforward process. This flexibility makes it easy to explore neighboring countries, offering safety and affordability. My round trip ticket, priced at just 450,000, exemplifies the convenience and cost-effectiveness for tourists.
Hong Kong: A Beautiful but Pricey Destination:
Hong Kong, a short hour’s journey from China, captivates with its beauty but comes with a high cost of living. The city, home to Nigerians engaged in business, serves as a hub for trade between China and Hong Kong. The mingling of cultures and the prevalence of Nigerians conducting business highlights the global connections fostered in this unique city.
Lots of Nigerians do business there, buying stuff from China and selling it in Hong Kong. Some even found love – many Hong Kong women marry Nigerian guys.
Fun Mall Times:
I found this mall where it felt like a mini Nigeria. Nigerians, Indians, Pakistanis – it was like being back in Alaba market or Idumota. They run businesses, own shops, and it’s a mix of cultures.
Finally, China blew me away with its safety, business vibes, and unexpected connections. From the trade fair buzz to the strict no-guns policy, and the cool mix in Hong Kong, every moment was a blast. Can’t wait to share more stories from my China adventure soon!
